ATTORNEY AT LAW

Melkon Torosyan joined MPC Legal in 2022 as the most recent addition to the firm. Before joining the team, Melkon built a successful career as a solo practitioner, focusing primarily on employment and injury law. Now, with the support of an experienced team of litigators, he continues to grow and excel in these practice areas.

Melkon earned his Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School in 2019, graduating with a concentration in Technology Law and Entrepreneurship. During his time at Southwestern, he gained invaluable experience through externships with several firms operating at the intersection of law and technology. However, his most fulfilling role was with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, where he worked alongside prosecutors in the Cyber Crime division. Melkon contributed to critical analyses of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) – a groundbreaking and comprehensive data privacy statute – and its implications for prosecuting cybercrime.

Before embarking on his legal career, Melkon honed his analytical skills as a data analyst for the Associated Students (AS) of Cal State Northridge. In that role, he developed and executed queries to track AS’s physical assets and their values for accounting purposes. He later creatively applied his data expertise, designing databases for restaurants and eateries that paired beer and wine selections with menu items using qualitative and quantitative attributes.

Despite his technical background, Melkon found his true calling in injury and employment law. He takes immense satisfaction in advocating for individuals injured in accidents or mistreated by employers, finding joy in vindicating their rights and helping them achieve justice.

When he’s not practicing law, Melkon enjoys spending quality time with his wife, whether traveling or exploring local spots. He’s also an avid Lakers fan and an enthusiastic golfer.
